A family-run business located in the heart of Gower, Swansea, Wales. The center offers a range of activities that can be enjoyed by all generations and families. The center is home to 38 birds of prey, and visitors can enjoy displays and experience days where they will have the opportunity to meet and hold the birds. Perriswood also offers archery lessons for adults and children from the age of 6 for all abilities. The Rifle Range at Perriswood is available for participants of 14 years and over
Botanical Gardens
The park was formed from the landscaped gardens created by Glynn Vivian of the Vivian family who purchased Clyne Castle in 1860. The estate passed to his nephew Algernon, ‘The Admiral’ in 1921 who owned it until his death in 1952. He had the greatest influence on the gardens as we see them today. Clyne Gardens contains varied National Collections of plants set in beautiful parkland.
Gower Heritage Centre
A countryside crafts center located in the heart of Gower Peninsula, Swansea, Wales. The center was established in 1990 and is situated in historical and beautiful surroundings. The center is home to a 12th-century water-powered corn and sawmill that has been renovated and is still fully functional. The center also features experienced craftspeople who offer workshops in a variety of crafts such as pottery, cider making, and woolen mill. Visitors can take a self-guided tour of the center, which includes the water wheel, corn mill, flour mill, wood lathe, and other historic equipment.
Rip N Rock
Rip N Rock is an adventure activity provider based in Gower, Swansea, South Wales. They offer exceptional quality coasteering, gorge walking, canyoning, surfing, rock climbing, abseil adventure, and team building experiences.
Oxwich Castle
A Tudor manor house built by an ambitious father and son in the 16th century. It has a mock-military style and a stunning sea view. You can visit it for free from April to September 2024, and see its remains of a dovecote, a hall and a gallery. The castle is located on a wooded headland overlooking Oxwich Bay
Dylan Thomas Birthplace & Family Home
A living museum located in Swansea, Wales, UK. The house was the birthplace of the late Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, where he lived with his family for the first 23 years of his life and created two-thirds of his published works. The house has been restored to its original Edwardian era style and is open to visitors for private tours, staycations, and dining experiences.
Dylan Thomas Centre
A museum and cultural center located in Swansea, Wales. It is dedicated to the life, work, and legacy of Dylan Thomas, the famous Welsh poet. The center hosts an exhibition called Love the Words, which showcases Thomas’s life, work, and cultural context. The exhibition includes original manuscripts, photographs, and audio recordings of Thomas’s works.
National Waterfront Museum
It is one of the seven national museums in Wales and is dedicated to the history of industry and innovation in Wales over the last 300 years. The museum is housed in a former dockside warehouse and features interactive exhibits, collections, and events that showcase the stories of Welsh colliery horses, mining, metal-working, and transport technologies.
